Alexa De La Fuente

Alexa De La Fuente (she/her/hers) is a Ph.D. student in American Studies and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies pursuing the Ethnicity, Race, and Migration graduate certificate.

Her work largely centers on Latinx visual media to think through the racial, gendered, and transnational dynamics of feminist thought and action. She is a self-described Tejana that aspires to follow the footsteps of passionate educators working towards social change.
