The Transnational History

The Transnational History Working Group is a multidisciplinary workshop for historically –minded graduate students interested in topics that include multiple geographical and national settings. This group seeks to debate often unwieldy and nebulous (terms) of transnational history and bring together an array of students interested in multi- or international topics, broadly defined. Relevant students projects include global diasporas, border crossings, cross-cultural  encounters, and international institutions and spaces.

At our monthly meetings, graduate students present their work and ideas on transnational topics, and the group responds with questions, criticisms, advice and support.
