The ER&M Program at Yale expects to make one or more senior appointments in Asian American Studies, Latina/o Studies, Native American or Indigenous Studies, or Comparative/Transnational Ethnic Studies. Applications are welcome from scholars at the level of advanced Associate or Full Professor who have demonstrated exceptional scholarship and teaching, as well as leadership in their field and in the profession.
Specialization is open, but the committee particularly encourages applications from scholars pursuing ethnographic field research and critical analysis, or from social scientists, humanists, or interdisciplinary scholars whose work engages one or more of the following areas: geography, critical demography, education, environmental justice, science/medicine/technology, or stratification and inequality.
